Duing the last 20 years I served in the Army and Army Reserve. Went to Desert Storm in 91 and more recently just completed 15 months in Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. I graduated from EWU in 1996. I am still married to my sexy wife Katherine (Wasson) Dale of 19 yrs who graduated from LC in 1989 (LC - I know, who would have guessed it?) I own a Land Surveying company here in Spokane (Benthin & Associates Land Surveying and Planning). I will be retiring from the Army Reserve in 2009. I am currently in the midst of my 9th move since the 10 year reunion. We are on our way to Portland, OR. We are in limbo as our house in Spokane just sold yesterday (though we were living in Milwaukee, WI last year for my husband’s Montessori teacher training) and we are waiting until we can get into our new house in Portland next week. I am in Spokane, but will not be at the reunion since I didn’t know until this week if I would actually physically be in Spokane for the reunion weekend.
My husband will be teaching in a private Montessori school in Portland and I have been staying home full time since taking on my current career as a circus ring leader. Our 2 ½ year old son is part tiger, clown, acrobat and daredevil. I am looking forward to preschool starting in the next few months. I will then have a few free hours a day to return my organic based massage/esthetics business or to put my Master of Environmental Studies degree to use. I am currently working on a 200 hour certification to teach yoga to children and families. I am sure that Portland will be the perfect fit for whichever new life path emerges.
I hope everyone has a fun and safe reunion weekend. Maybe I will be able to plan 5 years out for the next one. I hope that I will have finally left my vagabond ways behind and that I will be settled and enjoying life! Send This Person a Message
